Departing Sheringham at 7:00pm, one of our steam locomotives will haul the ‘The North Norfolkman’ luxury dining train carrying you on two round trips  along the picturesque North Norfolk coastline to Weybourne and Holt.

Enjoy a three-course meal on the move and be entertained by adroit and amusing tributes to your favourite Comedy Greats. Each evening has a distinct theme and many diners choose to dress the part – this is encouraged but not compulsory.

Be enthralled by a crazy hotelier taking a break from Torquay; or a 1940s café owner who is reluctantly caught up in the French Resistance; or a ‘slightly simple’ 1920s gentleman and his sensible man-servant – along with all their mad-cap friends and family. Once you get on board there’s no going back – you can expect to be caught up in the immersive, hilarious adventure from start to finish.

‘The North Norfolkman’ boasts an onboard bar selling a selection alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Dining is very popular, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please note this service is not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Trains are available to board from 6.30pm and arrival back in Sheringham is at approximately 10.30pm.

Menus vary according to season and are confirmed a few weeks in before the train runs. Our bookings team will contact diners to ascertain menu choices in advance of your visit.

We shall be pleased to cater for any vegetarian or other special dietary requirements – please let us know at the time of booking.

A welcome drink of local beer, cider or apple juice is included in the price, along with a bottle of water on the table.

Other drinks and wines can be ordered and paid for on the evening.
