The North Norfolk Railway offers far more than just a train ride! Grab your tickets, watch the guard wave his green flag, listen for the sound of the whistle and a whoosh of steam as you set off on a timeless journey through some of Norfolk’s most stunning coastal scenery and beautiful countryside.
Visit on a November Steam Sunday and relax in your reserved seats for a journey from Sheringham to Holt and return. One of our powerful steam locomotives will be in action hauling a train of restored steam-era carriages. This will include luxury dining cars for pre-booked diners but the train also conveys limited seating for other passengers.
Select your preferred steam train departure when you book and you will be allocated specific seats on your steam train journey.
Please note that station facilities will be closed at Holt and Weybourne during this period as our team prepares for our festive season.

Trains depart from Sheringham at 12.30 and 14.15 – the return journey to Holt and back takes approximately one hour and 20 minutes

Dogs are very welcome to travel with us, however we ask that they are kept on a short-leash at stations and that they do not sit on the carriage seats.
