The NNR Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Graham Hukins as General Manager of the North Norfolk Railway.

Graham has a 30-year track record of managing award-winning tourist and heritage attractions and considerable experience of leading and inspiring teams, increasing revenue, overseeing projects, exercising financial control, ensuring exceptional customer service and managing safety. Since joining the NNR in 2021, he has strengthened the Commercial Team and developed a cohesive Commercial Strategy for the business.

Chairman Steve Allen commented, “Following a thorough recruitment process I am delighted to appoint Graham. He demonstrated a clear understanding of the particular challenges associated with the heritage railway sector and the NNR in particular and has provided the leadership and stability needed in recent months as Interim GM. He is the right person for the job and I am looking forward to working with him as we continue to improve and develop the railway.”

Graham said, “I am honoured to lead the team of hard working staff and volunteers at one of the country’s leading heritage railways. Their passion and enthusiasm is vital and shines through in everything we do. Next year marks our 50th Anniversary and I look forward to meeting the challenges and ensuring the railway is sustainable and secure for the next half-century.”
