A “Full English” served aboard a restored steam train oozes tradition. Arrive at Sheringham’s historic station for a relaxed mid-morning departure and settle back in the comfort of one of our dining cars built for British Railways in the 1950s or ’60s and boasting restored interiors of varnished wood and a distinctive upholstery moquette that was characteristic of the period.
As your train steams gently from Sheringham to Holt and return, enjoy the changing vista of some of the County’s finest countryside coastal views whilst savouring a freshly-prepared Full English including butcher’s sausages, delicious bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms, tomato, hash browns and baked beans accompanied by a glass of orange juice and freshly-brewed tea or coffee. Our Full English is gluten- and dairy- free; a vegetarian option is available – please request using the questions at checkout.
Dining is very popular, so book early to avoid disappointment. For enquiries regarding children’s tickets or bookings for one person please contact our Booking Team on 01263 820 800. Please note this service is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
Trains are available to board from 10.00am, departing at 10.30am. You will arrive back in Sheringham at approximately 11.50am.
Please note that dogs are not permitted aboard our Dining Train services.
