“Then and Now: The North Norfolk Railway”
The North Norfolk Railway has today announced a new publication on sale later this year.
“Then and Now: The North Norfolk Railway” delves into the rich photographic history of the NNR. Looking at the stations and lineside through time, from construction in 1886 to the present day, we see how different generations have changed the railway, and in several cases how little change has been made. In recognition of the 50th anniversary year, the book also looks at significant moments from the preservation entity’s past – the days that made it what it is today.
Whether your interest is in the history of the railway, its locomotives, its scenery or just its mere existence there is something for everyone whether seasoned enthusiast or casual visitor. Over 140 pages, 370 photographs tell the story of one of Norfolk’s most popular tourist attractions, and the enduring legacy of a railway that refused to die.
Publication is scheduled for May 2025. Pre-orders for the book are available at the special price of £12.95 – should you wish to pre-order a book please click here.
